i just got my data cable off of ebay (it has a box in the cord) and the drivers came with it, but when i try and install them, it says that it does not pass windows logo testing, and i continue anyway and no luck. so i installed the futuredial drivers. and in bitpim, i cant find anywhere to select the LG VX600, so i get errors there also, i have searched all the threads and cant find anybody with this problem, my computer wont even recognize my phone, it keeps beeping the sound when you plug in and out a usb cord, and freaks out. i want to use brewsky to transfer mp3's. but either programs will recognize it. half the time, my phone will just shut off when i plug the cable in. i have tried curitel drivers from their website and future dial drivers. can somebody please help me out?!?
i am using a local service carrier - midwest wireless.

i was able to get everything updated for the usb devices, modems, and ports. but as soon as i started up brewsky and tried to connect with the correct port, it freaked out again and said there is a device malfunction, so i unplug and plug in the cable to the phone again, and it shuts off and doesnt work. i am still getting that error that says that the software needed to be installed does not pass windows xp logo testing, but i continure anyway and it finally says it installed successfully.
thanx

BTW...
I bought <a href=http://www.tangshop.com/lg-vx-6000-data-cable-usb.html>this</a> cable from Tangshop.
In the pic it shows it has no box, when in reality, we do need a box if it's gonna be charing through USB.
But anyways, it said it's a charger cable (the one with a box in the middle of the cable), and it sent the same too. But the pic they have on is misleading.
Anyways, that's not the big deal. Only thing I was wondering about is, when it's plugged in, does it actually show that the battery is being charged, like how the battery power bars on the top right keep blinking when we're charing the phone with a real charger?
Because it's not happening to me. Yes, it's full. But come on, after a whole day, even if you didn't use it and you put the charger in, the power bars will blink. And it should do the same if we have the "charger cable".
