Well i am using Sony SoundForge 7, and wel i run the steps in the tutorial, make it like 22050 and 32 and mono, but when i go to save, the save as is .wav, i dont see midi, so i just find the file, and rename it to .mid .. i go to open it to see if it works, and it says, cannot open type of file.

What can i do?

For the filetype to save as, choose MP3. Once the file has been saved, THEN change the extension to .MID. Your PC MP3 player won't properly recognize the file with the .mid extension, so test it before changing.

It's possible that you may not have the MP3 plugin for your SoundForge or it may be expired. If that is the case, use an external MP3 encoder, I recommend WinLAME: http://winlame.sourceforge.net/

Or just use goldwave, which comes with an mp3 codec.

(Plus it's about a bagillion times better. )
