everyone is making such a big deal about changing the file extension on the mp3s to mid. i was just wondering if my phone is special, or if im screwing it up, but i can put an mp3 straight onto my phone and it plays it. i dont have to change the extension or anything?

LG VX6000s are nice because they can do that. Everyone else, unfortunately, is forced to use other options.

And, the vx6000 can only do it if you're using the right version of bitPIM, and you're not trying to email them.

If you are using the newest version of bitPIM, or if you're trying to email them, then you need to change it to .mid. Yes it's crappy, but c'est la vie.

If your not using a cable and are trying to email them how do you change them to mid. Please help Josh. I asked for"This I Swear" you got it for me and i can't get it because don't have a cable yet. So how do you change it?
