They gave me all these settings and I have no clue what it means

WAP

GPRS access point: WAP.fido.ca

IP address 205.151.011.011

Port 9201

User name: fido
Password: fido

GPRS setting

Apn: internet.fido.ca

General MMS

Atn: mms.fido.ca

Can someone please help me, I would like set up my phone so I can surf the web but I have no clue how. THanks

hi let me try and expalin some of the items in your post.
wap (Wireless Access Protocol) a means of connecting wirelessly to the internet, sending a message wirelessly and so on from your phone ?
gprs (general packet radio services) another form of getting onto the internet with your phone, this is more likely to be better for you, because it can help with directions and things like that.

mms (multi media services) this is good for maybe taking a picture with your phone and then sending it with some text as well to friends or family and i am not fully sure exactly how much room you have within an mms message, you will have to play with it , hope this helps you m8

But with all this, read the documentation that came with your phone and good luck ?

surfing the internet with your phone depends on your carrier , do you own a computer ????????/ if so you could connect your phone to your main pc and surf the net.

one thiing more i will say, read the documentation that came with your phone slowly and go through each stage at a time ?????/
