White box on main LCD 8600

i removed the verizon wireless banner with a data cable by replacing the eri_binary.bin file. there is still a white box (used to say verizon wireless) that remains on the main LCD screen when you're recieving a call. it's annoying because i'd like to assign images to these people but i'm not going to be able to see them if there's a white box in the way!
does anyone know of an eri_binary.bin file that will get rid of the box completely on the 8600?
i know some people have asked about this before(http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...ight=%2Bperfect) but i'm still not able to find an answer. the link given at that site doesnt work, plus he has a 8900.
