Does anyone know if Sharp ever has plans to make phones for the United States? I dont see why the arent making phones for us now.

Yes, I do. Read this:

"Sharp has introduced several advanced mobile video phones in Europe [and] is looking to expand sales of its phones further into Europe and in North America. "

Source

The story's about the new Sidekick but this paragraph talks about Sharp's phones in general.

Yippee!

Actually were going to be carrying the Sharp TM-150, at least that's what I heard.

Posted by: BMWFilms

i'd rather see the TM100 come than the 150...the 150 is just fugly IMO...

Posted by: kingfans

Tm100 and Tm150 are going to have the same features. except Tm100 is tri band ( 900/1800/1900). I think Tm150 is going to be 900/1900 Dual Band. you can take my word.

Posted by: BMWFilms

you'd think the TM150 would at least be tri band, quad band would be better but well Sharp's decision making abilities are suspect ever since they neutered the GX32

i think 99 % Sharp TM150 going to be dual band 900/1900. Samsung and T-Mobile are Smart.

still 15secs video recording, no bluetooth from what i see, ill stick to my gx32...

Posted by: BMWFilms

eww...no BT just kills it then for me...youd think they'd learn by now and actually fix the BT

Posted by: tmojay

i really like the tm150 but i demand bluetooth and mp3 from my phones. i have a 6230 so there aren't any other phones that appeal to me right now.
maybe a samsung p735 but i doubt it will have a speaker phone. it does have a 1MP cam, mmc, and mp3 player.

Has anybody compared the reception with the TM150 to the V600 on T-Mobile?
