Using Sprint Treo 600 on Verizon?

I tried searching first for an answer.

I have a Sprint Treo 600, while I am in love with this brilliant device and am less enamoured with Sprint Service.

I cannot afford to pay the Sprint ETF and then resign a new contract with Verizon plus pay $$ for another Treo 600 as well

So here is my question.

Can I end my SPrint Contract port the # over to Verizon and use the SAME Sprint Treo 600 phone with Verizon.

Will there be anything that this phone will not be able to do on Verizon.?

ANyone with experience please help

Thanks

because your phone is not a SIM card based phone, the greatest problem you'll run into is if verizon is willing to load the ESN into their network. conversly, programing the phone will be next to impossible with out the lock code from sprint.

i am basing this info off of regular phones moving from carrier to carrier. if for some reason the palm os can support such a change, i don't see why it wouldn't work

Would the sprint treo work flawlessly now that Verizon officially has the Treo in their product line? Updating PRL, internet access and stuff. I like the carbon color as well, and would buy it if it works just like the Verizon silver one.
