Is it possible to set a different alert for each of your incomming email addresses? For example... can the balckberry make a different sound when I get an email on XXXX@hotmail.com than it does when I get an email on XXXXXX@msn.com? Thanks!!

If you're asking if there is a way to set up different alerts according to which account YOU are receiving mail on, then I think the answer is possibly, but it would involve creating alerts or filters on your accounts' settings/options.

If, however, you are asking if you can set up different alerts according to the SENDER, then you should take a look at that new program called Message Alerts, from Webmessenger.

You might want toi take a look at that new app I mentioned. It allows you to set up different alerts according to the "To" address as well as the "From" address. There's a 30 day free trial offer, so you can give it a test run and see if it works for you. You can only set up to three alerts, but you can set it so that if you receive an email to your "work" address or your "personal" address it would alert you differently.
