ive found it a major pita to find wav ringtones, both searching thru this forum and google... and have considered just starting a database of sorts, very simple, FREE website w/ nothing but downloadable ringtones on it

i would of corse need some users who have large collections of good wav files to help contribute... but i think the little work would be worth it in the end and make searching for quality ringtones much easier/faster

this would mostly be for WAV ringtones...

so... post up in here if you are interested, and if you would be willing to contribute ringtones to the site

ok... as long as a few more people are interested and willing to help collect them, ill set it up, i have some extra space on one of my servers so i don't mind... and it could get fun

you can make your own archive thread, i'll sticky it and give you a title to match your thread. some threads get 400 views a day, if you want to upload directly to your own thread that wouldn't be a bad idea. we already got people with their own sections but the more the better no? if you do want your own thread, title and whatnot check it out. xc also has over 4,000 ring tones posted ranging from every genre you could possibly think of.

the next collection of wav tones is probably gonna be different fart sounds and burps or something. i'm already out of ideas.

but if you guys do want to post your work, xc will support you.
