LG VX6000... how much storage space in KB's can the phone hold. Trying to figure out how many .mp3's I can upload to the thing.

Also, when the Index field reads -1, is there any file that can be wiped out, that will recreate itself upon reboot so that the ringtones all get a valid index number?

I have over 6 MB of ringtones on my phone. The only limit that I have been able to find is the number of ringtones, and that limit is 21.

I have midi and mp3 both on my phone...

If someone calls from another cell phone, the mp3's playback fine, if they call from a landline, the mp3's skip...

The midi's all play fine...

Any ideas anyone???

Did you restart your phone?

If that's not the problem, your MP3's are probably to big, and is taking to much memory to play the MP3.
