I'm looking at upgrading phones largely so I can have speakerphone. I have heard mixed things about the speakerphone feature since it is half-duplex.
This feature is very important to me, so I'm looking for opinions from those that have tried or owned either of these models.
What I am asking is, how well does it work in real-world use (i.e. conversations)? It it worth it or should I wait for new phones this fall?

i would say wait. the main problem is the other party can't hear you. otherwise its excellent in my opinion at least compared to the Siemens SL55, Moto V600, Nokia 3200

I wouldn't wait. It is highly unlikely that there will be a full-dupex phone coming out any time soon.

I am really surprised that other companies, ie. Nokia, have had full duplex speakers on all of their latest phones but Sanyo just cant do it. I use to use a 6610 nokia on tmobile and switched to a RL-2500 and was a little let down when I found this out. Oh well
