Transparent Clock display

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Ok, I know everyone says this can't be done. but I have a couple of backgrounds on my phone. 2 of which have the clock transparent in the middle of the phone and other new ones post it in the little box in the bottom left. the reason I am making this post is all threads I found say its in the firmware where the clock is displayed, but I find that unlikely since I can have it displayed at least in 2 different spots.

now the real question is where this stuff is stored. and how we can make it work with new wallpapers.

More importantly, can we change the color, format, and location

"AdamTheFckdUpKi the ones that come standard on the phone"

thats still not telling me anything i need to know the format so that mayb i can create it myself

What Adam is trying to say, is that you already have these transparent clocks on your phone. They come with it right out of the box. Its under settings/display/wallpaper/default.

It would be a great idea if we could figure out where it is in Bitpim in the programming. Unfortunately, I think its in the basic programming.

I live close enough to Audiox in Happague, NY (Its 2 exits away). I may try to get some info next week.

what im trying to say is that is there a way to create ur own wallpapers with the clock in the transparent clock in the middle like the default wallapers that come with the phone

Posted by: advntrous1

The clock as I understand it is in the basic programming in the phone. Thats why going to audiovox just might be the answer. If we can find out how to use the clock with any background, then we are set. I would be happy if we could shrink it and put it at the bottom or at the top where the symbols are.

Below is a picture of the actual wallpaper on my phone (for the moment).

As you can see, I hate this d@mn clock so much that I made a wallpaper in honor of the son-of-a-b|tch! (SORRY FOR MY LANGUAGE!!)

Just thought that someone would get a kick out of this.

lmao niceee. there HAS to be a way to get rid of it. Ive been looking for the default wallpapers using bitpim, but I havent had any luck.. This will be a difficult task.

whoaa! I think I finnaly found something of use!

Okay, attached is a hexdump from the default_img.txt in the db folder. As you can see it lists the wallpapers, digital clock 1 and 2, and also analog clock 1 and 2. Im not really an expert on all this, but Im sure someone can do something with this..
