for the GD88/GD87
when you talk to someone the light on the phone(blue) starts to blink..and it waste's batteries faster(i believe), so is it possible to turn it off?

if you are talking about the LED, dont worry about it. LEDs use very low amounts of power.
worrying about the LED wasting battery life ... thats pretty sick man

anyway to lower the "draining" of the battery for the GD88 when talking?

adjust your backlight and keypad light settings... make them shorter for better battery life, and if possible turn down the mic volume a little
