i want to use my x70 to download java programs to my fone such as Language Bug's Kanji Software but I read a review on Mobile Burn that says it doesn't support java apps? Is this true? Can I not use my WAP to download it?

thats odd... it says that java is supported on just about every page that advertises this phone

that's what i thought too orignally
but if you check, it's actually infusio so it's not j2me
a lot of sites thought it was java as well

and is it for sure wap 1.2.1?

i need to be sure before i get it... as i am on rogers.

ive also been thinkin about the philips 855, but the panasonic is cooler.. 180 degreee flip is kinda strange on the philips

it should be possible
but i haven't seen any success yet
there was a thread where someone posted games but people couldn't get them to work

and yes it's wap 1.2.1
i am using it on rogers as we speak

cool thanks alot. the philips seems too much like a motorola so i will just get the x70. my friend has it NIB for USD $270
