hey everyone I am looking for a new 2 way alarm remote start I dont want anything cheap but the one feature I like the most is the one where the alarm disarms and unlocks the door with the remote in my pocket as I near the car. The best one I can find with this feature is the Performance Teknique ICBM-7071. I cant find any info on this system and it looks kind of cheap. Can some one talk me into this one or recommend another? Thanks in advance

There is one that Crimestopper makes that does this but the feature that you really want is not all that appealing to me. I mean what happens if you walk back and forth or your just hanging out by your car talking to some friends? Its gonna drive the system crazy. The Performance Teknique though is a very good system, my cousin had one on her 2001 Lincoln Town Car, it seemed to work very well - its white right?

thanks for replying so fast. yeah, the remote is white, some places also offer a dark blue one. i'll try to find that crimestopper model, thanks

Yeh no problem. If I find the Crimestopper one, I will be sure to post it.
edit: Heres Crimestopper's website, they have released a bunch of new alarms this year. Take a look at the different designs and features.

Hey I'm thinking about getting a new alarm too. I just picked up the Viper 791XV 2-Way responder. I heard it's pretty good. But let me know if you've heard anything about this one too. I haven't installed it yet. Thanks

I got a Compustar 2WFM and it has the auto unlock feature too. Once I get within 15 feet of my car it pops the door locks. Highly recommended by most who had it, which is why I bought it.

Nice choice. It's suppose to be one of the best, if not the best 2-way paging system in the market right now.

My friend actually has this one in his Corolla. He paid around 200 something Canadian for it with installation. It's actually a pretty good alarm. Only issue was some intermittent arming problem in which the passive arming didn't activate after a preset amount of time.

System is nice, but those 2-way remotes sure do eat thru batteries.
