whenever i turn on the phone, it ask me to confirm to turn on the phone.... anyone know how to get rid of that???

You must be using the M55 on Rogers. It doesn't do that on Fido.

Anyway, here's a link explaining how to do it. It was too complicated for me to bother with, so I'll just continue to press ok when I'm using a non-Fido SIM

This is called aircraft check. It supposed to prevent the phone to power on by accident in a place like an airplane. It seems to do this only with a few SIM. To get rid of that you need a data cable and a program called quick eprom avilaible on www.siemens-java.com then check the disable aerocheck box. You can also enable band selection menu and enable DES (data exchange)
