it is OEM orginal parts try buying from seller live in Hong kong
with free t6 i've been buying casing from this person "brand spankin new................cost about $12 shipping included i'd still have one extra unused........

I got an OEM Abyss Blue housing from a UK seller. But it is easy to get fakes on eBay as well.

No doubt it's a gamble. But use your best judgement, and check their feedback and past auctions. If they've sold a lot of alleged OEM housings and have great feedback, they're probably not ripping people off.

I bought a T630 upgrade kit (housing & keypad only - no screen) from china_store, but I have not yet received it. Should get it by Friday - I'll post the results when I get it.

in the past, china_store has been pretty good. all the stuff i got from him were oem...

i'm planning on getting the t630 white conversion kit from him but so far i've been reading that his housing is a fake

can anyone confirm that? are t630 housings 100% plastic or does it have aluminum like the t610?

Follow up

The housing I got from DJFINN was indeed plastic - not the metal stuff and the front fits fine... but the back battery cover is kinda a pain in the butt... seems kinda loose - almost like i need to put a dot of glue on the bottom of it to help hold it down.... lame... I guess i'll find a metal one - once you guys say which one definately has the OEM metal housings...

so original t630 housings are metal? which parts are supposed to be metal?

I think they are plastic. The one I got from china_store was plastic, but I fear that one is not OEM.

Aside from the obvious problems with construction, the T630 housing I got from china_store was good. It looks and feels real, but then I noticed the faceplate was in two pieces, taped together with double-sided tape. That is definately not OEM.

china_store are very well known for selling fakes

for a while china_store was even selling the housings without the SE logo button on the back. They forgot buttons, got some buttons mixed up. they forgot the battery padding. The mirror bezel was separate from the battery cover. (They should never leave the SE factories apart from each other. They should never leave the SE factories without the battery padding.)

They are very good quality fakes, but they are fakes. I assume 99.99% of the vendors from china are selling fakes.

It is too expensive for them to buy the OEM's when most customers can not tell the difference between the real and fakes. Many times they sell the knockoffs for less than the wholesale cost of the OEMs. The counterfeit market in China is growing exponentially. Many stores in the US now carry counterfiet products from china. They may even think they are original parts from a different distribution channel.

fatmui sells 100% gauranteed original housings for the T610, i've used him twice. once for red, once for blue. look amazing and they are definitely OEM versions

you get: front and back fascias, antennae cover, battery padding, original keypad, torx driver to open phone and a tool to get the antennae cover off (a proper ××××× to do)

Just recieved my Blue faceplate in the mail

lotsa problems.

1. The window had fallen out of the front faceplate.

2. the various pads are missing. the battery cover pad and the lower dust pad on the front bottom.

3. to top it all off, the blue aluminum keypad cover fell off as well.

4. also the center "frame" is white, not silver.

5. My T6 screwdriver was not included in the shipment

I have contacted the vendor, "mobiletimes" and hope to get a replacement.

Ok i got mine from momosworld today. They are OEM and they are metal.

They look great! Came with everything (except keypad)

for the t630 conversion, I just got mine in the mail from china_store, it looks pretty real but did is fake becaues of some minor scratch and very unnoticable stuff like the QuickShare word is not very level (tilt up one side for maybe 0.001mm).. missing battery pad.. but for $30 shipped to USA, I would say it's a steal even it's fake.. I don't see why I need a OEM anyway as long as it works and fits good.. my t610 has been dropped for so many times and the metal case is all scratched up.

man on ebay only cost about $16 bucks real one brand spankin new comes with t6...............

i just got my white one from china_store and it's a very good fake if it's not real.

for aftermarket, it fits very well and looks just like oem. the battery cover even had a layer of metalic paint for shielding. i tested it with an ohm meter and it does conduct. it's not just there for looks.

i got it for $26usd and that's a good price considering it came with all the parts to do a full housing converion from t610 to t630.
