I just came accross the BEST web-site for ringtones FREE. Its called www.3gforfree.com (it doesnt support VZW but u can STILL get the tones for free even tho they want u to pay, email me or PM me to find out how, cuz im not telling you publicly) Its got the REAL songs in .QCP format. Now if youve got Bit-Pim u can get them to yur cell by usung the data cable. Cuz w/ the LGVX6000 u can only send a file to your fone thats UNDER 30k. Most ringers are between 30-50K. They also have pollyphonic ones there too. U can just just send them to your phone and they are really small file like 3-20K. I heard of this site cuz i joined the pretty nice site called www.upoc.com where u can get the latest info about anything.

That site isn't that great. Just search the forums for much better sites..
Besides, when you put .qcp files on your phone, they play out of the earpiece, and NOT the ringer (outside) speaker, so ringtones suck. You have to use either .mp3 or .mid files...

Not my phone. If I save a .qcp file (or a .mp3 file with a .qcp exstension) it plays through the ringer speaker, and it repeats.

Which S/W version do you have?

i guess if it lets u download .mid files, then u can put them on any phone. i just looked at their compatibility chart and didnt find any LG phones except LG 5350 and LG G4050.

Well I just donwload the songs and then transfer them to my cell with the cable

well... i just checked out that site thouroughly, and actually, ITS NOT FREE. you have to pay to get so called 'free' ringtones. you can only get them free if you log in to the site with your mobile phone and download them that way. Verizon is NOT supported, so all of you with LG phones, unless u want to pay $7 to get some tones, that site is useless....

Wrong again

When you preview the song, you can save it. Thus making it free to download and just use a cable to send to phone

But you can always convert them to .midi and send through vzwpix.com

or have some new tunes on your pc

Yeah, thats the what I want, a bunch of midi's on my phone that's capable of playing mp3's. Or a bunch of clips of songs on my puter.

There's so many more sites that have great mp3's for free right here in the forum, why go thru all the headaches???....Or maybe its just me?

Blazer for instants has a fantastic site, everything on it is free, from mp3 clips, animated gifs, wallpapers, etc. He has posted a link up above, so need to do so again. Besides his though, there are hundreds of sites like qball's to name another person. It's just plain nuts to go anyplace else.

At least IMHO.

For those of you that like country and some older rock, you should visit my site. Once again, everything is free, and they are small enough that you can send them via verizon's site. Oh, and they are all mp3 clips and not midi's.

If you guys DIDNT know....you can get the midis for FREE at that site. if any1 read my OTHER thread http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...threadid=434240 you would see that u dint have to pay a friggin cent. Its alot better then asking some1 at this site "Hey u got the new Chingy- I Like thaT" and wait a few hours or even a day for sum1 to give it toyou. when u can search, follow my 1 min tutorial and u can have the same ringtone in a few mins. I would only come to a thread in HOWARD if i cant find it anywhere off the net. This post was MENT for ppl who ARENT as advanced as sum ppl who have a data cable and can rip the MP3 to their phone if they wanted to. I was aiming this post to regualr ppl who dont know much, and wanted to help them out.

I've got one finally question to ask. Why would anybody put midi's on a phone that is capable of playing mp3's? It's just as easy to put mp3's on a 6000 as it is to put midi's on there.
