(The following information is being passed along for what it's worth... I have no affiliation with the company.)

I was in the market for a BB and found a website called www.foncentral.com and they have a great deal on a T-Mobile BB 6710...FREE. No phone plan required. All you have to get is the $39.95 per month T-Mobile unlimited email plan and keep it for a year. Shipping is free too. All I want is to check email so the 6710 should do the job for me.

So do you need a plan or not? You said no plans required, but then I have to get the $39.95 (the plan) for a year...

no VOICE plan, you need the $39.99 data only plan though, is what

Yes, no phone plan is required.... only the data plan.

I got my unit via FREE FedEx Express in one day. foncentral.com is very fast and efficient. The 6710 came with an extra car charger, along with all the included accessories (cradle charge, travel, charger, holster, earpiece, euro plugs.)

This is my first BB experience and I'm totally impressed. I have my 8 email accounts linked to it and the little bugger downloads the mail very quickly. I live in the NYC/NJ area and the TMO coverage seems to be good.
