I have Ntelos also. You can just use the Verizon info for the most part. I have mp3 ring tones, wall paper and even animated screen savers on my phone and I did most of it by using what I have learned from the Verizon people.

How did you get them in your phone? I can't get any of the apps except the crap that Ntelos gave me to connect.

Try reading this first http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...threadid=397469

Most of the things that you will need should be there. Your best bet is to search with in howardforums if you have any problems. If this doesn't help you then please state your problem and I will try to help as much as I can. Sometimes I don't get to check my e-mail for a few days so if I don't reply right away I will as soon as I get a chance.

I will say one thing though. DO NOT, and I mean DO NOT add any ring tones to your phone with out updating your download_snd.txt file first. You WILL lock up the ringer section of your phone if you fail to do this. Trust me, I know first hand.

I read it all. I can go to device manager and query the modem and get a response. The audiovox phone manager and camera pic downloader work so there is communication from the phone. I even used system restore and went back before any drivers were installed and used the older Curitel USB drivers on a link found here. I got Brewsky to upload once and after that I cannot get it to connect again. I get an error message on Bitpim. But after all these apps won't work i can go into device manager and get a response from the phone. I've rebooted the pc, rebooted the phone and tried all the possible combos of things and still no go. Just success that one time.

I had a motorola (sucks) and took it back because you can't upload to it. Similar results as this phone.
The wonderful tech guy in back assured me I could use the software I got from them to upload ringtones etc. Guess I was lied to again.
Also I tried the software on another PC so it isn't an issue with this PC.

Got it to work. I try to connect to the phone with BitPim. It won't and I get an error message. Shut BitPim down. Immediately open and connect with Brewsky 8900 and it works every time. Who knows?

But I got tones man !!!! LOL
