HELP! installing themes

hey,
can anyone help me out with installing themes on my 6600??

do i need any apps like theme studio etc or do i just d/l onto the phone and it'll install???

You don't need any other apps...just send the theme (should be in the .sis format) to your phone via BT or IR and then click on it in the inbox. It will start "installing" (technically it copies it to your themes folder - save it on your MMC) and then once you are done, go to Menu>Themes and look in your MMC...it should be listed there. click on it to either preview or apply. That's it!

Does the N-Gage support themes? I looked through the FAQ, but I'm pretty sure this wasn't addressed. I only saw how to change the background. I'm a total s60 newbie, so any help would be appreciated.

The Ngage doesnt support themes. Only the 6600 and the 7610 support themes. Once you download the theme via Bluetooth / IR etc. Open it and it will install automatically be sure to install it on your MMC card on not on the phone memory. Then open themes and select the theme.

Not to worry for every1 who have phones that do not support themes.

i downloaded a theme, and in the theme it had a sis file and the jpg image, i only copied the sis file into my memory card, via a reader and then when i installed it i installed into the phone , not the card, is that bad? anyway to undo that. also when i applied the theme, there was no pic showing, it would be the default theme. thanks

you can undo it, just delete it and re-install it to the mem card. and if you want a pic showing on top of your theme, just open your gallery , open a pic and choose "set as backgroung"

I've 25 themes from mango in my phone. I hardly use any other theme. From Nokia 7610 Black to Nokia 7610 white including Graffitti, sketch, Spaceship, Night, Tribal, N6630, N66 etc. Mangothemes Rocks a big time.
