(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: blazer380

I have uploaded my own ringtones, wallpapers, and animated gifs that were made for the VX7000 phone. you are welcome do dl them.

the mp3s are 30 seconds long and you can make the size of them smaller by lowering the quality and converting them to Mono. (i'm too lazy..lol)

I will post on here if I add anymore at a later date.

dont you mean that you ripped from Deviant Art ?..

Posted by: blazer380

dude.... i never said i actually drew the ××××ing things.... i just resized them to fit the phone.....

and i went back and optimised the size and quality for the phone so now they dont take up that much room....

NJOY!

sorry..

Posted by: blazer380

Also, if you want to request a custom ringtone, post it here. I only do Club Music/Trance/Lounge music. There are plenty of other sites that will do Rap/Hip Hop for you. (i hate that ××××).... lol

If i send the animated gif to my phone through e-mail (without a cable) will they work as animated wallpaper? I saw the tutorial but i don't want to buy a cable.

Posted by: blazer380

without the cable, you might get the file on your phone, but it will not be animated

Incorrect. A gif will transfer fine via email and will be animated on your phone.

Posted by: blazer380

actually there was already a discussion on this topic, and animated gifs dont work when sent thru vzwpix.

Posted by: surewhatever

Well I've sent several animated gifs to my phone via vzwpix.com and they all are animated on my phone.

Posted by: blazer380

can you insert one of those animated gifs in your next post? also can u give detailed steps on how u got it to work?
thanx

Posted by: Sasage

Are the pics that are 176x184 for the main display or the front display?

Posted by: blazer380

main... if u want for front, resize them to 96x80

Posted by: blazer380

I have made a web page specifically for VX7000 Wallpapers and
Ringtones. All images are 176 x 184, and all ringtones have been
optimized for the VX7000 phone. You are welcome to upload your own wallpapers and ringtones to the website.

Here it is:

This gif is currently my wallpaper. It runs a little slow and only shows the first 10 frames of the file. I sent it just like I would a song. I emailed it as an attachment (no renaming of files) to <mynumber>@vzwpix.com
Came up exactly as I sent it. It is odd however, that the phone cuts off eveything after the 10th frame when you save it. When you view it as a pix message, you can see the entire gif. But once you save it to the phone, you only get the first 10 frames. It does this with every gif I have sent.

Posted by: blazer380

hey myz... thanx for being the 1st to register. have you tried uploading any images/ringtones? i want to make sure its ez to do.

Posted by: MacHead

The site is really well done. I appreciate all your work. A day or so ago I uploaded my wallpapers and ringtones to the site. Will register tonight. Thanx agian. Oh, by the way, who uploaded the mermaid pic? I would love to get a larger version for my computer.

Posted by: MacHead

I have found it extremely easy to convert my .mp3s into ringtones that work on the VX7000. If anyone has any requests in the genres of Classic or Progressive Rock, I will check my collection and make ringtones if I have the song. Just let me know (I will post the ringtone to the new site mentioned in this thread).

I went to your web and was able to d/l wallpapers. But how do I d/l the mp3?

I can't find d/l button or link?
I can hear but don't know how to d/l em...

Posted by: blazer380

I have fixed the problem with not being able to d/l mp3s and such. You are now able to do that. There will be a link right under the file and you can click it to d/l it.

I am also working on a useful FAQ to help people to upload their own files and such.
I will post when its done.

Posted by: blazer380

Ok. Everything works now. I have also added a Tutorials/FAQ album for text files that contain various tutorials, as well as one on how to upload to that site.

You can now upload Animated Gifs as well!

Any other requests, let me know =)

here's the larger version of the mermaid pic, I made the wall paper using this, but I think there's a larger version on the second page.

THANX GUYS!

Posted by: blazer380

over 40 members in 3 days.... too cool

Posted by: bossdragon

I have a thread called older rock and country if you guys are looking for that type of music. I know that blazer doesn't make those types of ringers.

Also, if you'd like me to make you a specific ringer in those area's let me know. I can either make it and post it on my site, email it to you, or upload it to blazer's site.

By the way blazer, nice site. I have about 2000 wallpaper's I could upload if you need more....lol

Was really bored one night, and just found any pic I could and resized them for the 7000.

The link here at the forum is located here

The link to the actual site is located here

Keep up the good work blazer.

Posted by: blazer380

did u say 2000? good god man! if you really want to, put them all in one zip file, and email it to me. alex@s-c-u-m.com

i will then upload them all as a batch, instead of u doing it 10 at a time. i will also say that they were donated by you and link to your web site.

but thats up to u....

Posted by: bossdragon

I would like to see these animated gif's that are sent from verizon's site to a phone that work once on the phone.

I have tried a dozen times with no success. If you look on the thread that blazer mentioned, it basically says the same thing.

So if you have done it, I would like a copy of the gif to try myself. Maybe there's something I'm not doing right.

Of course with bitmap and a cable I can and have, but I would like to know so I could send the animated to other family members who don't have a cable, bitmap, etc.

Thanks in advance

Posted by: MikeHal38

so i cant get mp3 ringers or animated gifs on my phone since i dont have the cable....?

Posted by: blazer380

you can download them to your computer, then if u dont have a cable, email to your phone using vzwpix

Posted by: bossdragon

Thanks blazer for putting up the wallpapers and animated gifs. I hope you don't mind, but I put a link from one of my threads to your site. So ppl reading the thread could go there for the wallpapers, gifs, etc.

Keep up the good work

i have 150+ hip hop ringtones for all LG phones newer than the 4400...im to lazy to maintain a website with them though...is there anyone who needs them?

Oh yea, ive used a little trick to make them LOUD and CLEAR...my 4500 is often mistaken for a radio...

Posted by: blazer380

if u want, put them in a zip file and email them to me, i'll upload them to the website......

alex@s-c-u-m.com

Posted by: MikeHal38

im having problems with emailing mp3's to my phone... i always get an error or it drops the mp3. i rename them to .mid but it doesnt work for some reason.

Posted by: bossdragon

Are you using verizon's site to send the mp3 clips to your phone?

Also, are the clips under like 200k in size?

If all the above are yes, or if your not sending from Verizon's site, go there and try and send from there. (Link to Verizon's site below)

I'll give you a short, precise tutorial.

When your at Verizon's site click on Create A Message.

Where it says To: put your phone # area code first.

Then go down to where it says, FROM PC and click on that.

Then click on ADD TEXT, and type something. I usually type like 11. Once you have typed in something click on ADD.

Screen will flash, and the text you have typed will be in the main box now.

Go back to FROM PC and click on it again. This time click on ADD AUDIO, search your drive for the song you want and double click on that. Once it shows it in the small box, once again click on ADD. It might take a second, but it should say up top of the screen in red that the audio has been successfully uploaded.

Once it says that, go down to the bottom again, and click on SEND.

If all goes well, in a couple seconds, you should see your phone receiving the file.

In case you don't know how, once you recieved your file, preview it, and once it's done go to options, scroll down and go to save audio, click on that and save your song. Your done. What I usually do after that is get rid of the message, so I'm not taking up so much memory/space on my phone.

After that go to sounds, and your new clip should be there ready for you to enjoy.

Hope this helps some.

For Older Rock and Country mp3's, click here

Couldn't resist, had to plug the site....lol

i have added the QPST software, the LG USB drivers for VX6K and 7K, and Verizons Quicklink Mobile Software to the FAQ/Tutorials section of my new website. (no more searching through threads to find stuff)

http://www.s-c-u-m.com/cell/

enjoy!
