Thinking of getting a blackberry phone

Right now I have a samsung E715, but I guess it just doesn't do enough. Its a nice phone, but the applications for it absolutely suck, and no online apps work. I want to be able to use apps like webviewer, virca, etc. Would a blackberry phone allow me to do this? What other kinds of applications can run on a BB phone? Also, any recommendations for a particular phone?

Browse through the forum, and you'll get a decent idea of how people use the BlackBerry.

I suggest the primary reason people flock to, and love the Berry is for its email prowess. It's basically purpose built for it.

If heavy duty email is not your thing, there are other devices like the Treo that may suit your needs. Remember the Treo will run more apps, as it runs PalmOS.

If you do go for the BlackBerry, the current crop of 72xx and 77xx are good choices. I've used both and like them equally.
