Ah, I see it there. No part # is given as it is appears to be one of the three that aren't available as accessories. That means that to get one you probably need to contact a Nokia Authorized Service center and maybe they can get one.

Are you sure that it will fit the 8390? None of the faceplate part #'s they show under accessories are those that are for sale for the 8390.

yup... 8310 and 8390 are very the same phone the main difference is the frequency... some other exta features 8310 has that 8390 doesn't [built in radio and bla bla... ] but shapewise, they are EXACT the same... s o yup, it'd fit... i've seen people have it around.. well... i'll see what i can do..

Its on Ebay, but the sellers are in Europe, so it would be quite a hassle to get. Does anyone know where to get it in Canada?

Posted by: Goldskin

Adam -LVwireless- used to sell it for USD $20

Goto Malaysia or Singapore they got the largest range or mobile accessories.
I got covers for 2usd and a 8890 conversion kit for 15usd

how much did u get it dude ?? when r u getting it ?

Posted by: Driftwood1979

I paid $45 for the OEM faceplate, OEM keypad, OEM boom mic headset and shipping. If everything turns out to be genuine, I think I got a reasonable price on it considering how much it usually goes for on eBay.

Here's an auction from the guy I bought it from:

White Cover

Here's an auction from a different seller:

White Cover

The 2nd auction claims its an "Asian Edition," not quite sure what that means. He also has an aftermarket one available. Problem is that he has zero feedback... always something to be concerned about...

I have more faith in the first guy, his feedback is 100+ and has a 14 day satisfaction guarantee.

Either way, I'm still a bit suspicious, there's lots of fake Nokia stuff out there... I guess I'll find out in a week

Here's hoping

Heh, I guess I did, but its impossible to find, just had to have it

The aftermarket one is going for $8.99, you should checkout that one. Looks alright in the pic.

Hey Driftwood, how did the faceplate come through? Is it really original or another aftermarket? I'm curious because I noticed both the sellers you posted are selling the faceplates again.

SHARP HAS EM!

i think.

Aftermarket, the quality of the faceplate was subpar. I got him to give me a refund instead. Alot of the aftermarket faceplates have the nokia logo imprinted on the back and a logo on the plastic that protects the screen from scratches, they're very convincing but in the end its still fake. The keypad was good quality but it came in aftermarket package. Not quite sure if that was genuine... Ah well, the quest for the whiteface plate continues.

Ack, no more buying stuff from Hong Kong for me...

very true...i got this black/silver plate...i was like..wow..another OEM plate....but when i compared to the real ones..the Nokia imprinted logo is a bit off from the real one...also...the Nokia on the front is not as "shiny" as the real one...and u can compare the infrared piece to the OEM...the aftermarket ones r more "clear" then OEM

Hey Sharp, I noticed your white faceplate for the 8390 in the "show off your nokia" thread. Is that an aftermarket or real thing, and where'd you get it? Me like and me want!
