7730 Voice Quality Disappointed

Just received my 7730 from TMobile. After playing with it for a few days, and still learning...I am very disappointed in a few items:
Voice Quality: Callers sound like they are in a tunnel at times, then sound normal, and go back to a tunnel. This does not happen when you have the earpiece.
No True Browser Without BES(MDS): Without BES, I have to use T-Zones and having error 406 accessing most websites such as yahoo and cnn.
No Speakerphone: Unlike the 7510, the 7730 does not have a speakerphone.
Software: OK, I know this not a PDA like Palm or HP, but why can't I get an excel file or word doc? Yes, I have gone to sites where I can download eoffice but they want over $140 to register from what I see. Why can't RIM include such valuable programs with the device?
ON THE GOOD SIDE:
Great SCREEEN! I have seen the older screens, and this new model is very nice. The size is great, great backlight, and does not add to overall size where it would be uncomfortable. In fact, when wearing the 7730, it feels very comfortable.
Email: Awesome! Keyboard: Very Nice. Options, Address Book, and All Other Features Are Wonderful To Have.
The purpose of my purchase was to combine Phone+PDA, and I really don't want anything else but a RIM device for the size.
BTW- I went with TMobile, my current provider, because I could get BB U/L for $29.99 add-on vs Nextel which was much more on both BB and Cell.
Any thoughts on voice quality and software? I would love to keep my 7730, but may have to send it back and just get a V600 with Bluetooth and access email via laptop or PDA.

Has anyone else had voice quality problems with their 7730???

I just got a 7730, replacing a 7230. No voice issues at all.
Do all calls sound like they're in a tunnel? Or just calls to certain people?

NJ- I have made several calls and voice quality on my end, through the 7730, sounds good at times, then sounds bad (tunnel), then goes back to good again. Calls made to 611, land lines, and other cell users have the same effect.
Also, other parties say they hear the difference vs. my V300 or my i90. On the V300 or i90, I have had people tell me "Your in your car on a cell phone?!", because the call quality was so clear.

I would call the carrier back and ask for support on your voice quality issues with your phone, go through some trouble shooting steps with them. The 7730 is not known for having issues with voice quality.
As for browsing and viewing attachments such as Excel and Word. Browsing and getting those errors has to do with the carrier. Viewing attachments, do you have a BWC account set up?
