yep...gettin an 8290 again..

last one i had..had white led screen, blue led keypad..flashing white battery and flashing white keypad

what should i do with this one??

any suggestions r welcome..please give me lots of ideas

yea i think the 8290 is one of the best phones...its light and so powerful..hhaa ur phone must have been a lil club...i think u shuld go crasy and mix and match Leds....red looks really tight on the key pads...but dark on the screen...but n e ways happy fone tuning

im thinking of

installing LEDs of course

a 6590 look faceplate in black or full pearl 6590 housing

8390 white/clear plate or clear vertu style plate with clear middle flashing blue led piece and clear backplate with flashing blue leds

or

8890 full metal housing?

u got pics of the 6590?...i think the 8390 is one of the best cases....rather than the vertu ish...full metal 8890 is tight too...but cant get flashing battery or key pad...since is not even noticeable.

they have them on gsm square the 6500 stlye ones for the 8290 seem to be those kind of bootleg oem like. I have an 8250 black on my 8290 and they sent nokia oem 8250 keypad. I had to cut out the extra rubber to make it fit.

When I had 8290, I had lots of ideas!...

1) White 8250 style with matching housing and battery cover and white LEDs

2) Smoke 8250 complete housing (I got the faceplate, but no back) + violet LEDs (white) + flashing battery

3) A 8890 Conversion, then spray paint it black + white LEDs = 8855!

when i get my 8290, here's what im gonna do:

-orange led screen (possibly invert it... maybe?)
-hyper white led keypad
-clear housing

I think you should get 8890 conversion.
I got one two days ago and its the best with mixes of LED's

i heard many opinions on the 8890 metal housing fitment..how did yours fit?? and whats the quality like?
