Bought the data cable described in a post on E-Bay. I've read here about "sanding it down." It obviously doesn't fit now, so can someone please describe how to "sand it down" because at the price it was a deal if I can get it to work. HELP. I upgraded to this VX-7000 from a Motorola T-720 and had the connectivity cable for that so I could synch my calendar and contacts--loved that. Would really like to do it with this wonderful VX-7000 also.
HELP!!!

On the underside of the connector you'll see a couple of grooves or slots. Sand down the high spots to the level of the grooves and then the plug can be inserted into your phone. I used a dremel tool, very carefully, although some sandpaper would work, or maybe even a emery board.
