Will Bitpim work on the lx5550? How? or What shoud I use???

I did a search on this a few hours ago. I found a thread stating bitpim will work. You use the LG vx6000 cable and set bitpim as looking for either an LG 4500 or 4600 (don't remember which.) Do a search and you will find it. I think it was the uscc forum.
