when i try to transfer an mp3 ringtone to my i830 i get this error
( A general communication error occured while communicating to the phone. Please verify the connection between the computer, phone and cable as well as you're preference settings. In addition you may try setting the phone baud rate to 19200.)

i have no idea why this is happening it was doing this before. if anyone has had these problems and fixed holla at me. Thanks in advanced.

Are you using a serial or usb connection?

I didn't even know you could transfer mp3s to the i830, I thought it only accepted wavs, but regardless of that my sugesstion is to follow the directions and converting the mp3 into a wav because that seems to work best for all phones.

I am having the same problem, with the message popping up when trying to load ring tones to the phone, as well as having the problem that i am able to load wallpapers and it's fine. ironically i can load a song or game via the wallpaper loader thing, but then i don't know where to find them. any help would be great, thank you! Also changing it to a wav doesn't work.

yeah i am having the same problems im using wavs and i get the same error. i am using dbpoweramp to convert mp3 to wavs can someone help
