i have a verizon nokia 3589i and i want to get free wallpapers

i did the search function but i dont know the lingo of this stuff

i dont have the internet on my phone nor do i have a data cable

if anyone can slowly walk me through how to do this thatd be great

you have to get one or the other...cable or wap(internet) without those........you cant get free stuff.

you could get wallpapers with mms(multimedia messaging) but you have to have that added to your providers plan as well.

just some advice......the internet is the fastest and best way to get anything for your phone. its called wap, and your phone does support it. pay the money and get it.

what provider do you have?

ill prolly be gettin one or the other but i dont know which one yet

my provider like service provider (verizon) or internet provider (zoomtown on my comp) cuz i have no idea what my internet provider would be on my phone?

i told you i was knew to this so if i sound stupid its b/c i am

dude its cool

wap is phone internet.....your cellular provider has to provide that to you.....verison is yours right? so they will provide it to you for a fee. That is the best way to get free stuff or check email or send things email. The cable is ok....its requires software....gets messed up at times.....is hard to get working.....sometimes doesn't work at all. GET WAP NOT CABLE! just telling you from experience.

Sorry had to say that for the rhyme.

Verizon blocks all WAP downloads, so you have to go through GET IT NOW! or get a data cable.
I got an imitation DKU-5 on eBay for $12. You need to look around and not search for DKU-5, but rather for the individual models around. I've seen them from Hk for $10, but with like the 7210 name on them enven though they work seemelssly with the 3588i/3589i. I've seen them for $12 from the cellularking (where I got mine, slow shipping though) Cellularking's is a USB-to-Serial which could be confusing, so maybe HK is better, if their not the same, and $15 and up in other places.
