a little of topic but how's the screen on the GZ100? maybe you should do a mini review on the phone if you have time to do so hehe

Posted by: altec18

yea, can u do a mini review of the gx15 ???

Posted by: rgvkid

i find the reception on the gx-15 to be really good. certainly far better than the siemens s55 i had before, which would go all dalek-like regularly, and would have huge black spots eg inside buildings .
cheers

ive got a gx15. ill try 2 write a review but bear wit me its my first tym. in my opinion i its the best fone in its class. the OS is pretty fast and easy to use. the camera is ok in a sense that it is laggy (not smooth) but that cn work as an advantage as it doesnt become motion sensitive so the pic wont be "that" blurry. the sound when someone calls is not that loud as it take time to get 2 its maximum volume even if you set the volume on 5 (max). the video is ok when filmin in fine quality. pretty bad when filmin in normal. the playback is laggy as well. umm the memory is pretty bad bcoz you got all these features wit so lil memory for it. if u hav other question jst ask i dnt no wat else to say. sorry if i dnt make sense but jst bear wit me

i found this in another forum

anyone knows if this is true????

"I confirm the bug mentionned by a previous poster: the GX15 doesn't display missed calls (unless manually calling up the missed calls list). This issue should be solved in the next Operating System update though (that's what I've been told by my provider)."

Posted by: BMWFilms

who makes a phone that doesn't have a missed calls feature..man i luv seeing who called...just another Sharp fiasco haha

Posted by: rgvkid

weird one, mine works perfectly with missed calls/sms etc.
it displays on the "desktop" thAT there were 2 calls, then will show you the calls soon as you hit the top left button.
so works fine
cheers

Mine works too. It shows what calls were missed when the hotkey is pressed. Could be a firmware or phone fault

Posted by: Prelude8850

most likely..... i mean mine shows up right afterward.... it shows sms and missed calls..... id unno..... but hey who knows......

also..... is anyone plannign to change their keypad lights? or already done so?? plz tell me if it looks good and pics plz

Posted by: rgvkid

havent opened it to see how easy it would be.
would deffo consider it tho, after having a look at some new phones in a shop today, and some of them had really nice light-up pads.
assume they're just normal LEDs,so you should be able to solder in super-bright ones of your choice of colour (i would think)
cheers
