mp3...is there a way?

Ok a friend told me there are 3rd party software that will convert mp3 files so certain cell phones can use them as ring tones. Are there any for SE T637? My friend has a Motorola that doesnt support mp3 but he got it to work. Any ideas?
Also does anyone know which ring tone (sound) type or format the T637 uses or can use?

To my knowledge, right now the mp3 ringtones are supported on many of the new Motorollas. I was looking through new phones and i saw that the v400 already supported mp3 ringtones. Now, most of the Sony Ericsson phones do not specify if mp3 ringtones are possible or not so i don't know of such program. I am very interested on the followup in the thread also. Do you have any idea of what this program is called...also why doesn't your friend tell you
