I am considering a blackberry 7280 from rogers (canada) and I have a question that should be simple to answer (I hope):
My current email is through a linux box in at my work which runs IMAP. This is wonderful because whether or not I access my email from my laptop, from my desktop, or from webmail from someone else's computer, I always see the same inbox (on the server), and I always see all of my email folders (on the server).
Now:
With the blackberry, would I be able to access not only new email messages via the IMAP server but also all of my various email folders? e.g. would I be able to move a new email message to one of my IMAP folders? would I be able to open an IMAP folder and read an old email address?
Thank you so much for any info on this (I have not for the life of me been able to find this out on websites ... and when I asked the little boy manning the Rogers store his eyes bugged out and he said "what is IMAP"

PS: presently I do not have access to a BES server; I do have admin. access to the linux box that is the mail server and IMAP server
