does any1 have any experience with putting led lights in cell phones? i am trying to put led lights under a clear faceplate for my 8900. i know how to sotter everything together, but i need help connecting the lights to the circuitry of the phone so that it goes on when the phone rings or sumtin.

any usefull information or tips would be highly appretiated

i would also know how to do this. My friend did it to his playstation 2 controller, he says its a matter of finding out which circuts activate when whenever is triggered ::in this case when the phone rings::. i'm guessing a multimeter is in order? i'll ask him more later.

you could just wire the new leds to the existing ones in the sides. they already only flash when the phone rings and a few other times also.

Whats the voltage on the Leds? Blue lights require more voltage ::but there is already enough on the phone

:: than the Red and green ones. Once i get more information i'm gonna get some off of ebay and its off to the lab i go.
