Is the Sharp GX22s already unlocked? There are no sites on the web that offer unlocking services for this phone. I bought the GX22s in Hong Kong recently under a prepaid plan? I would like to use it in the U.S. Could get a SIM card from a cellular company and put it in my phone? Would that work? Any suggestions on which carrier I should use?

Hong Kong phones are never locked..

they got too much competition to pull that kind of crap there..
