which one is better?
and why?

the SE has no expandable memory and the 6230 has a small screen. I say go for a moto e398

well e398 doesn't have FM Radio and its the biggest out of the three phones. 'd rather have more features than a bigger screen. as for the memory on k700, you can convert your mp3 to mp4 and save a lot of space that way.

but still the phone is by no means large in anyway, and most people can probably look past the fm radio thing

yes the moto is perfect exept for the no video recording

i'd get the 6230...stereo sound, expandable memory and a half decent screen...not a fan of Moto that's why. just don't like their userinterface and placement of the dial and hang up buttons

it has a small screen that's the disadvantage for the 6230

I believe the E398 has the send and end buttons in the correct places, if you're referring to the reversed send/end keys on the older models.

Only the E398 has stereo sound....for stereo you need 2 speakers

he was probably talking about playback through headphones but it does beat out the others with its built in speakers

i'm getting my k700 tomorrow... very excited . as for the 6230. i think it's a great phone, except for the screen and the fact that on rogers (not sure about fido) you can't send mms. which does suck. as for the expandable memorey, i think 41mb (or whatever it is) is enough since i'm not buy the phone becuase of it's mp3 player. just me $0.02

Its a tough choice...I had to pick between those to and the E398. I took the E398 but it if Id to choose between those 2 I'd say the 6230 is a great phone...remember, expandable memory

why are soo many people concerned about expandable memory? Some people just want to use it as a phone and might like the pretty colour and design of it. If that the case then the k700i looks really snazzy. The 6230 looks to regular.

get the k700 deffinatly

its quality, the UI is supreme

hmm... i'm still very torn between the two....

(maybe getting both should solve the problem)

i made this decision last week, bought the 6230 in the end after using both for 10mins each. I found the SE a tad slower on the menus, and the joystick stuck a bit far up for my liking so it made moving it repeatedly difficult. Also the spacing and type of keys attracted me to the nokia, the SE had those crystal like keys which were too close and 'solid' for me, i was faster txting on the nokia. Both are great phone but the 6230 just edged it for me
