I am using bitpim and i loaded on some mid ringtones. however in bitpim i recieved an error while loading them on (name too long or something...) and now i can view the names of the files, however when i try to go and listen to the files, there is no sound. the funny thing is, when i go to erase the entries, i click erase and verify that i want to erase the files and nothing happens, the entries stay right there. any ideas on what to do? if needbe i can just erase the phone and resend everything via bitpim. how would i erase the phone if i can't fix this?

yo dude i had the exact same problem i assume your using bitpim .62 i think so when you want to delete a song just go to ringers then add then pick a new ringer you want (it will probably be smart to shorten the name and then click OK then go to whatever you do to send to phone and then it will recive the ringtone and the others will be erased

Hi, I had that problem before too. All I did was save my ringers on my computer (like on the desktop) and then just delete everything. Then I reloaded all my rings, except the one that caused the error. That got rid of it. Then, just rename the ringer that had the error, to something shorter, and reupload.

I hope that makes sense.

in "send data to phone" instead of "add" click "replace all" bubble! then the tone u want to upload will erase all the others that dont work!
