I don't know how many hands free kits I've already bought but all I know is that the last two that I bought for my Audiovox CDM8900 all end up defective after two or three weeks use. It seems that I cannot find a decent, good-priced headset that works for more than three weeks. I bought a Sanyo hands free kit from the flea market...it said Sanyo on it so I thought it would have good quality. It was working great for three weeks then I keep hearing this unbearable loud static. It's not the phone because when I unhooked the headset, I didn't hear the static anymore. Does the audiovox cdm8900 have some headset-destroying mechanism inside of it? I've tried another headset that I bought from Target and that just stopped working. I don't know...It has to be headset but I'm wondering where can I buy a good headset for a good price? Maybe I should just buy it from Verizon but it's too expensive.
