Can't connect 8600 to bitpim

I've tried using bitpim version .7 test 8, 9, and 15 and also V.62
I tried everything from the site below.

I have the USB cable from the MOK.

I'm out of ideas.

Try using the method in the link below. Connecting to BitPim with 8600 should be VERY similiar to connecting on the 8900!

Here is the error message I keep getting.

"Other CDMA phone on com3: The phone is not responding while transitioning mode from none to brew."

Sounds like a com port problem. Are there other devices, maybe another modem onboard sharing com3? See if your cellphone is recognized in device manager. And in modems property see if you can query your cellphone using the diagnostics page. Hope this helps.

if he does that he will have to change the USB mode in his phone ::assuming its the same as the 8900:: or the modem part is a nogo.
