mp3 to midi help

is there a way to convert mp3 to midi without losing the voices/lyrics? i've tried just changing the file extension and emailing it to my phone but it doesn't work. if you have figured it out please help me out

If you are emailing it, it wont work most likley becasue it only accepts files under 100k but if there is a way around it the only other thing i could think of is to send it with the .qcp extention on it instead of midi or .mp3

short answer: no.
also: you can't email a .qcp file to a phone... though you can send one from a phone to an email...

OH you CANT send a QCP file to phone huh?!! ahh thats where u are wrong my friend, and u dont need the USB cable either. u have to change the fille like this: file.qcp now change the name to file.qcp.mid then your phone will recognize it. done it many times. just make sire the QCP file is UNDER 30K on the lg 6000

open the mp3 in windows media player then do file save as and write .mid on the end. works for me.

To change the file types for my VX4400 the only thing I have to do is save a mp3 format copy of the ringtone I want and then rename it with a .mid extension. Then using Bitpim and the data cable I put them directly on the phone. Loud as hell and sound great on a phone that's not supposed to play voices and music according to Verizon.
