one get yourself a set of these sony headphones
http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/...02.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

They are totally superb and will improve the BASS amazingly, the GX30 playing Mp3's through these is bliss, very bassy no tinny sounds at all...

Now the next step get yourself a 3.5mm to 2.5mm jack plug converter from some place like Maplin for about 75 pence (uk)

now instead of pulling the little grey rubber cover from the heaphone port on the side of the GX30 phone...carefully make a small hole that the 2.5mm jack will protrude through, this can be done by pulling the cover away from phone a little however you can make a little hole...then pop the rubber cover back in place, stick the jack plug through the hole you just made and wallla...perfect stereo and a more secure fitting for the headphone jack, this helps the problem where you push the jack plug into far and only get sound out of one side...

the spacing of the jack plug through the hole in the rubber cover is perfect to stop this happening, no longer will you have to jiggle the thing in and out to get stereo sound and by far superior sound quality to the Sharp stereo headset I bought for £14...pathetic nasty things, bad sound and uncomfortable...
