The "Free WAP" tutorial I wrote is correct, but the gateway/server has been shut down. I've been trying to get some help to create my own WAP gateway/server, but no one seem to know how or want to help.

Cuwmb2: I've been running my personal WAP server for a little while now and can offer some advice on the subject. It's extremely easy if you have a somewhat steady ip. The best program I've tried so far has been the "Infinite Wap Gateway" by Captaris. That program, when used, will simply create a web gateway on your server or home computer for yourself to access and others. (You can enable password protection so that you can block others from accessing it - as long as you don't advertise that you have a wap server and don't give out your ip, you should be fine.) It is only a trial program though, but I think it'd be worth a try at least to see if that's the road you want to take. I'm not positive on how to modify your own web server/create your own to handle wap funtions. I've tried with no luck in the past, but that has been blindly stabbing at the problem with no guide or help on the matter. Personally I'd just download the Captaris program (much better, btw, than that other popular one [wap32, I think]) and use that until the trial expires to see whether or not you want to buy it, then wither do so, or look for another program. Keep in mind there are other, less clean options.
