I was in Eurpoe recently and got a chnace to see the Siemens SL55. Seems to be a nicer phone as it is similary a "slider" style. It is noticably smaller and more compact. They have it as 3.21x1.75x.86 and 79grams while the Slider is at 3.48x1.89x.90 and 96.1grams. So, in all dimensoins it is smaller - and you can tell when you see it. AND, it has no lame antenna as it is internal! it has 7 lines verus SE47's 5 lines of text. It comes in a lot more color optoins as well. you can attach a camera even. It has 3 bands versus the SE47 Slider dual band.
I have only seen it in Europe, but thought it kicked butt! Anyone know anything else about this phone?

The PhoneScoop page for this phone is here and the user reviews link has some info on it.

my friend had that phone. i compared my se47 to his sl55. i like mine better. the siemens only has 4k colours, compared to the slider's 65k. ans almost no cdma phones have internal antennas, it's a lot easier for gsm phones to have internal antennas.
