Everyone seems to have the 8900 for Verizon but no 8920 for Sprint
I would like to know how to get games and stuff for my phone but everyone here is talking about the 8900

Personally, I doubt you're gonna have any more luck getting games onto that phone. It's hard enough as it is with the 8900; the 8920 is more advanced and further along in the big companies encryption efforts. Yet, you are on Sprint and most problems about games come from the encryption problems caused by Brew 2.0 and the GetItNow service on Verizon phones. I do not know how Sprint is for phone hacking. Try their forums here on HoFo for a better idea of what you've gotten yourself into. Goodluck and keep us updated! I'll be getting that phone next I believe.

I'm a complete idiot with phones. Is the data cable for the 8900 also compatible with the 8920?

I just got one including the driver CD from ebay for 5 bucks that is for a 8900 and it seems to work ok on my 8920 and my laptop. I haven't had much luck yet on my desktop though. Seems to be a hardware conflict with the drivers. It's the one with the inline box. Now I need to figure out how to properly back up my phonebook entries. I downloaded my photos and ring tones no problem, but the phonebook data is mixed with lots of gibberish. I was able to download using both bitpim and brewsky.

Untill I read up some more on uploading to the 8920 and get the hang of it I don't think I'll risk any uploads for now. My main reason for getting the cable was for downloading my photos. So far my photos are kind of poor compared to my 2.1 Canon ELPH. Anyone else had much luck with the photos on the 8920?
Edit: By the way, for $10.74 US I got the cable and a spare 8900 li-ion battery, which so far seems to last longer than the original one.
