Don't support Futuredial

I purchased a futuredial cable from their Website. It arrived in the mail promptly and I was delighted to try it out.

I already had an eBay special cable that only half worked. So I was looking foward to the futuredial to fix the remaining problems.

However, the cable came with no drivers in the shipment. Having no Futuredial software to speak of, I could not download their drivers from their website since it requires a serial number. I contacted customer support and they told me to buzz off since I use US Cellular and they do not support US Cellular (only Verizon with the CDM8900). Neither would they give me the drivers that that supposedly work only for verizon phones (which we all know would work with BitPim just fine regardless of provider). Aside from all this, they "cannot offer a refund"

If any of you have the drivers to the futuredial 8900 cable, I would appreciate them. Email me privately if you don't feel comfortable posting them.

Otherwise, this is my formal "Futuredial does not care about it's customers" notice.

Oh, and their Better Business Bureau file is less than spotless. Wish I would have checked ahead of time.

(and the complaint listed is not mine, though I'm thinking of adding to it)

in all realness the cable is provided AS IS. Although it says go to futuredial.com to get the drivers this is ASSUMING that you bought the snapdialer/snapsync software. The cable comes with the software @ time of purchase in which, the cable by itself should be treated as a replacement/ if you get another compatable phone, you won't have to pay for the software again to get the right cable.

Do you work for FutureDial?

Regardless, the website says, "Buy Audiovox 8900, VI600 USB data cable

(Cable ID #28) You can connect to the USB port on your PC. USB driver included."

But when I bought it, the USB driver was not included...that's false advertising and therefore illegal.

So in all realness, they are a fraudulent company.
