anyone know when the release date for the 6000 is, in canada? also would like to know how much they will be going for. telus website shows "coming soon" for the past couple months.

I was told that the phone would be available for order from our supplier on this past friday. As far as I know it hasn't happened yet.

Phone has been on website as "coming soon" for a couple weeks, not months...hehe

Pricing is still up in the air. I'd say about 200 - 250 is accurate

So, sounds like you work for telus? I am very confusing about the relase date for Sanyo SCP-6000 coz i called telus CS today, they only tell me this phone will be available in Q3 or Q4....weird

Customer care is not really a good source of information on hardware such as phones.

Sometimes the newtork assistance department has a better idea. But whatever information you get is never reliable.
