Anyone figure out how to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm now able to put ringtones on my phone at will, and would like to follow suit with wallpaper.

I have a USB cable to connect my phone to the computer and Bitpim (which is what currently works for the ringtones.)

several people have done it..

but not me yet !

it takes photoshop or another program that will output 16it color files NOT 24 bit standard

and then you have to 'HEX edit' the file with a 'hex editor program'

the replace the wallpaperbit.dat file with your new file

i have the hex editor , i know what to do, but my image editor doesn't ouput the correct file format .

This is kinda off topic, but what USB cable do you have, and how much did it cost...

I got it from Radio Shack.

It's the Mobile Phone Data Cable from Futuredial. It's cable #19 and the 17-792 is the catalog number.

It was $20.99

Really, because when I was there it didn't look like it would fit into the spot. I'm positive it was the same chord ..
