kyocera 6035 (or any other) prl or software?

Hi, I sell verizon 6035's. I do it myself off ebay. My question is I can get the phones much cheaper then I do now if I flash them with the verizon software myself, but I never did it before and I hear the software is expensive. I have also heard flashing this particular model is harder then most, does it require like certified techs? Has anyone done this before?
