ok so here is an easy question for all you hardcore phone gurus... all i want to know how to do is erase a ringtone i dowloaded from vtext.com. i haven't done any tricked out hacking into my phone or anything, i'm just a simple man with a simple question... how do i get rid of those ringtones i now HATE HATE HATE?

when you have the ringtone selected on my vx4400 the button that says "more" has an option to delete the tone. Not sure about your phone but that might work.

thanks for the guess, but i figured it out. i have a vx3200 now (i dumped my POS vx4400; man what a heap of poor design!!) and all you need to do is go to "my melodies" in the media folder. that's where all the downloaded ring tones live. on the matter of vx4400's... does anybody else hate the fact that the voice dial/manner mode buttone is on the outside of the phone? mine was constantly switching to manner and silent mode in my pocket. that, the fact the phone weighed about a pound, and the horrendous call quality were enough to make me thank my lucky stars when i went swimming with it in my pocket.
