I know that any phone that support 1900 GSM will work, but how do I know? Anyone knows which phones does and are they usually locked or not?

All 1900 GSM phones support North America. You take your Asia/pacific phone that's unlocked and put in a North American SIM card in it, and Voila

not trying to start anything here, but what do you mean, i'm "a circular question?" and "i know...but how do i know?" i know what i'm asking here! when i asked, "i know that any phone that support 1900 GSM will work, but how do i know," i meant "i know that any 1900 GSM phone will work in NA, but how do i know which phones are on 1900 GSM!"

look at the spec of the phones???

if u get it in HK or some other countries that's not in NA
then the phone should be unlocked.......or should i say.never been locked
